Molly Forbes is the woman behind the blog Mothersalwaysright, a blogger, podcaster, campaigner, presenter, and a mum.
Molly has a passion for building confidence and discussing the subject of body image. She is a global campaigner and has also been a hosts on Channel 4’s Naked Beach.
Molly regularly speaks about body image and building self confidence at events and in the media, and has appeared talking about the subject on ITV’s This Morning, BBC Breakfast, Radio 1’s Newsbeat among various other radio stations and national newspapers and magazines.
Her infamous blog Mothersalwaysright began back in 2011, after she had her first daughter (Freya). A young new mum, feeling a bit isolated and adrift, struggling to settle into her new identity, Molly wrote about teething and sleep and breastfeeding and all the baby stuff, alongside presenting a breakfast show on Heart. After her second baby in 2014 (Effie), she wrote about it all over again as well as writing about mum life for BabyCentre, Mother & Baby Magazine, The Green Parent Magazine and OK! Mum & Baby, along with various others.
Fast-forward to now, and Molly mainly writes about self-love, confidence and body image, as well as family life, mum politics, fashion, travel, beauty and interiors and the odd kitchen disco. Molly also co-hosts and produces a podcast about body image called Body Cons, and runs regular events and workshops to make people feel better in their bodies.
Regular speaker at events, in the media for the likes of Sky News, BBC Breakfast, This Morning, BBC Radio Wales, Woman’s Hour and many other local radio stations.
Molly talks on panels and hosting her own events including; the Confidence Lab and live Body Cons events, she has chaired panels including; Body Kind Festival, and spoken for a range of different festivals, most recently – Anti Diet Riot Club Festival and the Live Life Well Weekender.
As a campaigner, Molly also speaks at schools and co-created the Body Happy Kids workshop for teachers and youth leaders, to help give adults tools for creating positive body image environments for children.
